The Pittsfield Township Public Safety Fire Stations are staffed daily with a Captain, 2 Lieutenants, and 3 fire fighters. The three stations have an officer (a Lieutenant) and a fire fighter on duty. 

Station 1

Public Safety Fire Station # 1 is located at 6227 W. Michigan Ave. (near the intersection of Platt and Michigan Ave). It is our main station, which houses Engine 1, Tanker 1, Brush 1, Engine 11, the Gator 1 and Rescue 17-1 the Washtenaw County Technical Rescue Team's truck. This station was built in 1975 and also houses the Pittsfield Police Department. The Director of Public Safety and Fire Chief have offices at this station.

Station 2

Public Safety Fire Station # 2 is located at 4345 Ellsworth Rd. (near Montibeller Park and east of Carpenter Rd.). This station was completed in 1992. This station houses Tower 2 and Engine 2.

Station 3

Public Safety Fire Station # 3 is located at 705 W. Ellsworth Rd. (near the Ann Arbor Airport and west of State St.). This station was completed in 2000. The construction and staffing of this station has reduced the response times to the west side of the township by approximately 5 minutes. Ladder 3 and Engine 3are the apparatus that are housed at this station.
