Duties and Responsibilities of the Administrative Services Department
- Recruit, select, and hire new employees
- Develop, facilitate, and implement personnel policies and procedures
- Coordinate and oversee staff training programs
- Administer employee compensation and benefit programs
- Maintain confidential employee personnel and medical files
- Administer all collective bargaining agreements and employee contracts and serve as a representative of the Township’s collective bargaining team
- Mediate or facilitate employee relations issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and Township procedures related to personnel administration
